  Professional Protest Song Band - we represent "fight back" music written throughout time!
  
• After emceeing the Women's March in San Diego in January 2017, Melanie Peters co-founded The Resizters with long time friends and former band mates from other projects, in response to the need for quality, inspiring live protest music at marches, rallies and community events seen everywhere.  Under Mel's leadership, the band performed & recorded inspirational protest songs with passion and reflection, reminding us where we have been, and we are going. 
• The goal of The Resizters continues to use our musical talents to support our community by representing protest music written throughout the ages, motivating everyone to do the right thing, take an active stand, and #Resizt hate, injustice, ignorance, and greed. 
• The Resizters have supported many fantastic organizations such as: Women's March, AFL-CIO, Planned Parenthood, San Diego NOW, San Diego Democratic Clubs, Public Power San Diego, California Teacher's Association, United Healthcare Workers UHW union, San Diego Pride / SheFest, 50501sd, Indivisible NC and SD, Activist San Diego, SDIC Labor Council, Coalition of Labor Union Women, The California Democratic Convention, ACLU, March for Science, and many progressive candidates,.
